Sandra D. Johnson, 61, of Reynolds, Illinois, formerly of West Virginia and Pennsylvania, died Friday, September 22, 2023 at home.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial service will be 3 pm Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Buffalo Prairie Community Church, 20320 183rd Avenue, Reynolds, Illinois 61279.  The family will greet those in attendance following the service.  Memorials may be left in care of the family to establish a college fund for Sandra's granddaughters, June and Ellie.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds, assisted the family.

Sandra was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on August 8, 1962, a daughter of Joe and Brenda Hawkins Mong.  She married Daniel Johnson in 2009 in West Virginia.

Sandra was currently working as the admissions clerk at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Muscatine.

Sandra is a member of Buffalo Prairie Community Church.  She enjoyed cooking, feeding people and making people feel special.  She cared about all different animals while favoring hummingbirds and bald eagles.  Her two absolute favorites were her dachshunds, Buddy and Bruno.  Sandra especially loved spending time with her granddaughters who she would FaceTime daily.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Daniel Johnson; children, Lydia Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Ben Johnson, Lewis Prather III and Emily Prather and her fiancé, Jorden Glasco; granddaughters, June and Ellie Glasco; parents, Joe Mong and Brenda Hawkins; and sisters, Kathy Carpenter and Lisa Robertson.
