Sandra J. "Sandy" Naab-Muller, 72, of Moline passed away Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, following a courageous one and a half year battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 7th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6th, at the funeral home.

Sandy was born on July 25th 1941 in Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Albert and Alice (Griffin) Fout. She was united in marriage to James O. Naab on April 25th, 1959. James preceded her in death on April 12th 1993. Sandy worked for 36 years at Jewel Foods, along with some of her closest friends at each of the Quad City Jewel locations. On January 14, 2000 Sandy was re-married to Dan Muller in Rock Island, a devoted loving husband of 14 years.

Sandy loved traveling, dancing, boating, skiing, gardening, and spending time with friends. Mostly,Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Survivors (and spouses) include her Husband Dan Muller, his daughter Heather Smith, Fort Worth, TX; her son Daniel Naab (Julie Lovewell-Naab), a daughter Debbie Naab-Ward (Greg Ward); grandchildren, Chris and David Naab (Jill),Curtis and Andrea Ward, and Kelsey Thompson; great granddaughter Hadley Naab, with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James O. Naab, her daughter Melissa Naab-Thompson, her parents, and brothers Jerry and Jim Fout.
