Sandra S. Pate, 80, of Andalusia, died Monday, May 11, 2020 at Mercer Manor Rehabilitation, Aledo.  Services and visitation will be private at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Burial will be private at Andalusia Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in care of Andalusia Community Baptist Church.

Sandra was born in Rock Island, Illinois on March 9, 1940, a daughter of William H. and Eva M. Hopper Sehnert.  She married Clarence D. Pate on December 21, 1957.  He preceded her in death.

Sandra was a member of the Andalusia Community Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Connie S. (Kevin) Slayden, Taylor Ridge and Keith (Michelle) Pate, Andalusia; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Matt) Tomlin, Kimberlee (Jay) Bolis, Trent (Abby) Slayden, Joline (Ryan) Septer and Bethany (Hawk Gustafston) Pate; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lance Bagwell, Rayce Tomlin, Brooke Bolis, Henley Slayden, Kyler Pate and Hawk Gustafston; and siblings, Mary Alderson, LeClaire, Iowa, Bill Sehnert, Andalusia, Jack (Pam) Smock, Milan and Dick (Marlow) Smock, Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter – Susan A. Pate and sister – Virginia Carpio.
