Born on November 1, 1955, Sandy was the beloved daughter of Roy and Bonnie Jean (Holloway) Kirklin. She pursued her passion for caring for others by attending nursing school and obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, which she utilized in her dedicated work within home healthcare throughout the Quad Cities. Sandy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her fervent enthusiasm for the television series *Blue Bloods*. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, reveling in the accomplishments of her grandchildren, who were the true pride and joy of her heart. She delighted in attending their sporting events and advocating for their dreams. Sandy leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her children, Nicole Crummy, Tony (Tanya) Carlson, and Stacy (Jeremy) Villarreal; her grandchildren, Devin, Mikayla, Travis, Athena, Carolyn, James, Khloe, and JJ; her great-grandchild, Kylan; her siblings, Sherrie Morgan and Mike Kirklin; her daughter of the soul, Samantha Bleuer; her lifelong friend, Wendy Barbee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerry Kirklin; grandchild, Karley Kay; great-grandchild, Taylynn; and a great niece, Allyssa Jean. As we remember Sandy, we celebrate her zest for life, her unwavering love for her family, and her compassionate spirit that touched so many lives.
