Sara L. Tate, 58, of Rock Island, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island. Services will be at 12 Noon on Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Sara was born on June 9, 1956 in Memphis, TN. She married Gregory "Lacolt" Tate in 1983 in Davenport, he preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shyetta Tate and Quintrell Avant; 5 grandchildren and a brother, Charles Benton.
