Sarah M. Harris, 71, of Rock Island, passed away Monday November 17, 2014 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab, Rock Island.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21st at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Private burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.
Sarah was born February 10, 1943 in Tupelo, Miss., a daughter of Red and Louise Steele Harris. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Tupelo.
Sarah was a nurse's aide in St. Louis, MO, for 30 years.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Ann and James Pulliam, Sr., Rock Island; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Calvin Harris; six brothers; and one sister.
