Scott A. Ewing, 51, of Illinois City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 2 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Andalusia Lions Club. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family. Inurnment will be in the Andalusia Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Scott was born on January 3, 1970 in Rock Island, a son of Thomas and Bonnie (Lindell) Ewing. Scott worked as a laborer for various construction companies. He was a former member of Laborers' Union Local No. 309, Rock Island. Scott was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his father, Thomas Ewing, Taylor Ridge; children, Autumn (Jeremy) Smith, Loves Park, Ill., Brandon Ewing, Reynolds, and Cody Ewing, Taylor Ridge; grandchildren, Hadley Smith and Archer Smith; siblings, Lorie (Stephen) Costello, Vancouver, WA., Thomas (Colleen) Ewing, Woodhull, Michael (Shawna) Ewing, Andalusia, Timothy (Linda) Ewing, Goose Lake, IA.,  Kelley (Lynn) Jackson, Andalusia, and James (Chelsea) Ewing, Rochelle.
