Shane M. Snyder, 45, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Shane was born on April 27, 1977 in Moline, the son of Donald and Linda (Franks) Snyder.  He married Gitana Sierra on July 25, 2002, in Rock Island.  He worked in the sales and insurance industries.  Shane loved the time he spent with his family and friends, especially "toy hunting" for transformers with his son.  He also loved the smell and lounging around on rainy days.  Shane enjoyed music and watching movies.

He is survived by his wife, Gitana Snyder; son, Taiven Snyder; mother, Linda Snyder; siblings, Shawn Snyder, Brandie Noe, Donald Snyder, and Tony Nache; mother-in-law, Retha Baggs; sister-in-law, Amber Spurgetis; and his nieces and nephews, Tyler Noe, Kylee Spurgetis, and Chase Spurgetis.  He was preceded in death by his father.
