Shannon A. Miller, 58, Rock Island, IL passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at her home. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the family.

Shannon was born on June 21, 1968 in Hardin, KY to Philip and Wendy (Pottthoff) Terranella and she was very proud of her Italian heritage. The family relocated to the Quad Cities where Shannon graduated from Moline High School.

In 1999 she was united in marriage to Thomas Miller and the couple made their home in Milan with their two sons.

Shannon worked a variety of different jobs in her career. Her love of animals led her to Teske’s and her favorite part of her job at Friendship Manor was visiting with the residents. She then started her work with the Genesis healthcare system, starting as a laboratory technician before transferring to the billing department.

Shannon loved music and singing, and in her spare time, she enjoyed singing karaoke.

She is survived by her mother, Wendy Terranella; son, Gavin Miller; and her beloved pets.

She was preceded in death by her father; and son, Chaz.
