Sharice "Reesie" Young formerly English, was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 4, 1965. She was the daughter of Jesse "G-Man" Halsell and Geraldine Young. She attended school at Precious Blood Catholic School. During her childhood, she attended summer day camp with her auntie Louise at Union Park. She participated in low organized games: Arts and crafts and swimming. Swimming was her favorite sport.

She was married to Thomas English; to this union five children were born. Later, Sharice was blessed with four more children.

Sharice truly loved and had a close bond with her children. Through good and tough times, she instilled in them to always stick together and family matters. She was preceded in death by her sons Nicholas English and Drew Norris, parents Jesse "G-Man" Halsell and Geraldine Young, and one grandson, Nicholas Warren as well as her beloved Uncle Jacob Cooper Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her Spouse Virgil Morgan, her children: Thomas (Javonna) English, Joshua English, Isaiah English, Nicole (Terence) Crocket, William Cooper Jr. of Davenport, Iowa, Tierra Cooper of Atlanta, GA., Monica Williams and Monique Williams of Davenport, Iowa.  Besides her children Sharice is survived by Thirty-three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Three brothers: Fred (Ann) Williams of Houston Texas, Randy Young of Moline, Illinois, Lloyd (Vergie)Young and one sister Penny Ann Williams of Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.
