Sharon K. Crandall, 79, of Milan, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Private graveside services will be on Thursday at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, who will later designate a charity in her name. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the famiIy.

Sharon was born on November 25, 1946, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, a daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Auten) Anderson. She married Donald Crandall on September 29, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2002.

Sharon worked as a legal secretary for many years at various law firms in the Quad Cities, and held the position of President, Legal Secretaries - Quad City chapter.

She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and the absolute best baker. She loved playing bingo, and all activities with her cherished friends at William Young. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, fondly titled "the Littles", who will greatly miss their GiGi.

Sharon was a warm and comforting person who always greeted you with a smile, a hug and something nice to say.  She touched many lives and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, William and Kimberly Crandall, Rock Island; grandchildren, Abigail Carothers, Alexander Carothers, Samuel Crandall, Lucas Crandall; great grandchildren, Isabelle Minteer, Brock Collins, and Leia Collins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Leann; grandson, Ashton; and brothers, Mike and Pat.
