Sharon L. Leland, 74, of Coal Valley, IL, passed away Thursday July 17, 2014 at her home.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial gathering and Celebration of her life 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 21st, at the family home, 1705 W. 2nd Ave., Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, assisted the family with arrangements.

Sharon was born October 16, 1939 in Rock Island, a daughter of James R. and Marjorie D. Frances Seefeldt. She married James Fox in 1956 in Milan.

Prior to her retirement, Sharon was employed at the former Franciscan Hospital and then with Trinity Medical Center.

She loved her family and grandchildren. Sharon was a friend to all and enjoyed many "adopted" grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved movies, horses, and caring for her beloved pet dog, "Charlie".

Surviving are her daughters, Marsha Millhauser and Susan Fox, both of Coal Valley, and Melinda McMillan, Lutherville, GA; grandchildren, Julie Foutch, Amanda Carothers, Jason McMillan, Matthew McMillan, and Joshua McMillan; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Cory, and Kayla; great-great grandchildren, Savannah, Dominic, and Cora; brother, James Seefeldt, Rock Island; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Billy Dryoel, and her sister, Judy Seefeldt.
