Sharon Lester, 71, of Rock Island, passed away, Thursday May 2, 2024, at her home.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are to be held at this time. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Sharon was born October 4, 1952, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Clarence Jr. and Bessie (Black) Hicks. She was united in marriage with Robert "Bob" Lester on May 9th, 1992. Sharon worked as a goldsmith, for over 20 years, creating many different kinds of fine jewelry. She enjoyed long drives with her husband Bob and watching her favorite TV shows. She liked to laugh and loved being with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Crystal Winfree; grandchildren, Austin Carstens and Bella Grace Winfree; and brother, Ron (Susie) Hicks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Karen.
