Shayla Nicole Anderson was born April 7, 1987 in Moline, IL to Nathaniel and Lynn Gosha. Shayla was a sweet soul who left us Friday, June 24, 2022.

Shayla graduated from Lyons Township High School in 2005. She got engaged to her fiancé Sidney Rush in November 2017. She has 3 children Camron Anderson, Danyelle Rush and Sidney Rush Jr. She worked at Trinity hospital in Rock Island as an environmental service tech.

She enjoyed reading books, listening to music, graphic designing and hanging out with friends and family. Shayla was full of love, positive energy and loved being at home with her family.

Preceding her in death is James and Florence Thompson, Vinyard Lucille Tate, David Anderson Sr., David Anderson Jr., Terry Gosha, Bernett and Theresa Thompson, along with other loving relatives.

Shayla leaves us not to weep but rejoice and remember her beautiful soul with siblings Shaelyn Anderson, Shakayla Anderson, Shakesha Gosha and Marcus Anderson. Grandma Johnnie M. Gosha, along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 7 at Greater Works Church, 402 46th St. Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday at church. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made in care of Shayla's 3 kids.
