Sheila A. Walker, 55, of Milan, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. Services for Mrs. Walker will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Sheila was born on May 10, 1966 in Moline, a daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Beard) Metcalf. She married Barnard Walker on May 24, 1986 in Davenport. Mrs. Walker worked as a manager in the IT Department of Modern Woodmen of America, retiring on March 24, 2022. She was a member of Homewood Evangelical Free Church, where she was active in the children's ministry. Sheila was an Awana Commander and camp counselor. She enjoyed roller coasters, cooking, traveling, flower gardening, Dr. Pepper and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Barnard; children, Jasmine Walker, Rock Island, Quincy Barnard Walker Sr., Rock Island; father, Thomas Metcalf, Rock Island; grandchildren, Quincy Barnard Jr.,  Eliza and Qhloe; siblings, Melanie (Anthony) Lloyd, Rock Island, Laura (Steve) Fullmer and Brent Metcalf, Champaign, ILL.
