Sheri Lynn Black, 60, Rock Island, IL died Thursday, October 27, 2022 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center. She was under the care of hospice for the last several weeks prior to her death, Sheri died peacefully in her sleep.

Born in Moline, IL on October 5, 1962, Sheri spent her entire life residing in Rock Island. She was a 1980 graduate of Rock Island High School.

She is survived by sisters, Linda (Carmen) Marchese, Debra (Michael) McGonigle; brother, Rick Black; sister-in-law, Sandy Black; a niece, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Esther (Heriford) Black; brother, Paul Eugene Black; and brother-in-law, Gene McGinnis.

A private service will be held for family members. Memorial donations may be made in Sheri's name to UnityPoint Hospice, Moline or St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
