Sherry Lynne Conwell, 72, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday June 18, 2026 at her home.

A gathering to celebrate Sherry’s life will be held Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 1:00-4:00PM at Len Brown’s North Shore Inn, 700 North Shore Drive, Moline, Illinois.

Sherry was born on December 8, 1953 in Geneseo, Illinois, the daughter of Charles R. Anderson and Beverly Anne Myers (nee Kibler). She was a graduate from Moline High School.

She married Michael Conwell on February 24, 2004 in Rock Island. He preceded her in 2007.

Sherry had worked several years at the former President River Boat Casino, Davenport as a bartender.

Sherry loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a award winning baker, enjoyed collecting unicorns, gardening with her mother, family gatherings around Christmas and making snow angels.

She is survived by her children, Damian (Annette) Morris, Rock Island, Kerry Anne Roden, Moline; grandchildren, Paige Morris, Ian Pearce, Chad “CJ” Gengler Jr, Bryan Skaggs, Gabriella Skaggs; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Charles R. Anderson, Terry L. Anderson and Kerry Rob Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; parents, Charles and Beverly; and grandson, Evan Skaggs.
