Sherry L. Schnitzer, 75, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at her residence.  Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sherry was born on August 12, 1947, the daughter of Ed and Mary White.  She married James Schnitzer on July 27, 1967 in Missouri.  Sherry worked at Pinnacle in Milan, IL.  She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, Mask Singer, dancing with the stars, CSI, First 48, cooking and writing down recipes.

Sherry is survived by her sons, James (Teresa) Schnitzer Jr., Shane (Heather) Schnitzer, and Brook Oden; grandchildren, Kalah, Joshua, and Gabe Schnitzer; and sister, Chris Daynes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James and parents.
