Sheryl June Noble, 72, Joy, IL passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Mercer Manor in Aledo, IL. There will be a visitation from 1-4:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be made to the family or directed towards dementia research.

Sheryl was born on June 8, 1951 to Robert and Carol (Trombley) Anderson in Mt. Clemens, MI. After high school, she moved to the Quad City area. Sheryl was an assembler for John Deere Harvester for fifteen years. She then worked as a CNA and later as a newspaper carrier until her retirement.

In August of 1997, Sheryl and Jeffrey Noble were united in marriage in Mercer County where they had made their home for the previous fifteen years.

They both loved to garden, Jeff with his vegetables and Sheryl spending hours with her flowers. She also enjoyed doing crafts, making wreaths and floral arrangements. She was a proud member of AA, celebrating twenty-eight years of sobriety on March 18, 2024.

Sheryl was a loving mother, wife, and sister. She was straight-forward, calling things like she saw them. Sheryl was both ornery and cantankerous but also brightened up the room and made everyone laugh. She loved life; she lived it with a passion and enjoyed traveling and experiencing the world.

Sheryl is survived by her devoted husband, Jeff; son, Donavon Teske, Moline, IL; siblings, Catherine Anderson, Australia; Robert Anderson, Esparto, CA; and William Anderson, Pawtucket, RI; one grandson; and her beloved chocolate lab, Jakedog.
