Shirley Ann Ehlers, 81, of Milan, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at UPH-Trinity Rock Island.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Shirley was born on May 27, 1936 in Crowder, MO, the daughter of Glenn and Lois (Page) Powers.  She worked as  a binder at Desaulniers Printing Co., Moline.  Shirley was an avid reader, coloring, and spending time with her cat, Lovey.  She took great pride in keeping her house and lawn clean and kept up.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Robin (Daryl) Drumm, Milan; granddaughter, Libby Drumm, Davis, CA; sister, Jean Chapman; and niece, Pam Tatge.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Powers; and nephew, Steve Chapman.
