Silvia Cantu, 68, of Moline, passed away Tuesday June 27, 2023 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.

Services will be 11:00am Friday at The House A Local Church, 2623 5th Ave, Rock Island, IL, 61201. Friends are welcome to greet the family prior to services from 10:00am to 11:00am at church.

Silvia was born on June 20, 1955 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of Luis Garcia Diaz and Ramona Garcia.

Silvia enjoyed cooking for others, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Martinez, Miguel Angel Cantu Jr., David Cantu, Daniel Cantu; grandchildren, Nathen, Omar, Andres, Lorenzo, Jacob, Luis, Mia, Mateo, Eduardo; 5 loving sisters all from Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parent sLuis Garcia Diaz and Romona Garcia.
