Sippoe Blamah Sr., 66, of Rock island, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2020 at his home.

No current services are planned. His cremains will be buried in his home country of Liberia.

Sippoe was born on April 21, 1954 in Monrovia, Liberia, the son of Kpangbala Blamah and Tetee B. Nyah. He was a graduate of St. Ambrose University, Davenport and had currently been employed as a supervisor at Tyson Foods, Joslin.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his parents, Kpangbala and Tetee; children, Sippoe Blamah Jr., Tomah Blamah, Kpangbala B. Blamah, Thorlowe Blamah, Victoria Averette; 5 grandchildren; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
