Stacy L. Yeater, 48, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at UnityPoint Health- Trinity, Rock Island.
A Memorial gathering and Celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Humane Society. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Stacy was born September 22, 1967 in Moline, the daughter of Timothy and Sharon (Seaman) Ryerson. She graduated from Rock Island High School and later attended Blackhawk College. Stacy married Michael L. Yeater on July 19, 1995 in Yavapai County, AZ.
Stacy was employed with A.T. & T. in Rock Island and Davenport, and also was a licensed daycare provider for many years.
She was active in the youth Soccer Program locally. She loved her children and cared for animals.
Surviving are her husband, Michael, of Rock Island; sons, Sean Yeater, of Seattle, and Brandon Yeater, of Rock Island; mother, Sharon Ryerson, Rock Island; father and stepmother, Timothy and Crystal Ryerson, of Prescott, AZ; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Sylvia Ryerson, and their children, Asher and Madden, all of Oakbrook, IL; Aunts, Karen M. Seaman, Moline, and Kathy E. Seaman, Dedham, MA; numerous cousins and additional family; and grandmother-in-law, Pauline Sheehan, of East Moline.
Stacy was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
