Stanley "Gary" G. Foulks, 71, of Rock Island passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at home.

A graveside service will be at 12:00 (noon) on Monday, March 14 at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those who wish to attend can meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave, Rock Island at 11:30 am.

Gary was born on September 2, 1950 in Perks, IL, a son of Clifford and Helen (Baker) Foulks. After high school, Gary joined the Navy. Once he got back from the service, he worked as a mechanic and clerk at his uncle's gas station and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the State Hospital. His favorite hobbies were fishing, cooking and reminding everyone that, "I got money".

Those left to cherish his memory include a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lenny "Larry" Foulks.
