Stanley "Stan" Terrill, 61, of Milan, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island surrounded by his loving family and friends. Services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Friday at the funeral home. In honor of Stan's love for the Chicago Bears, the family requests that you come dressed to visitation in your favorite Chicago Bear attire. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.

Stan was born in Moline on August 31, 1952, a son of James F. and Janice L. Johnston Terrill. He married Billie Rudsell on February 14, 1976 in Milan. Stan was employed as a customer service manager for the last 9 years at QCA Pools and Spas in Bettendorf.

Stan enjoyed bowling, playing cards and Nascar. He lived to cheer on the Chicago Bears as one of their biggest fans. He was considered by his family, "a social," fisherman. He was also avid girls softball coach for the Milan Area Girls Softball (MAGS) for many years. His greatest joy and love in life was being a Papa!

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Billie Terrill, Milan; children (and spouses), Angela (Jarrod) Lindley, Milan, Danielle (Jeff) Holdsworth, Aledo and Sarah (Dane) Hoyt, Moline; father, James F. Terrill, Rock Island; grandchildren, Vincent, Summer, Kayla, Madisen, Ayden, Darrin and Jackson; sister, Cindy Terrill, Milan; and aunt and uncle, Nancy and Bill Terrill, Cartersville, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his mother and special grandson, C.J. Lindley.
