Stephen Lawrence Perrin, 72, of Rock Island, died Sunday, December 4, 2022 due to complications associated with Parkinson's Disease at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.  A memorial service will be 1 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 at The First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island.  Visitation will be an hour prior at church.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Stephen was born in Moline, Illinois on January 17, 1950, a son of Lawrence Wendell and Mary Louise Bozard Perrin.  He married Debra Ainley on August 14, 1976 in Kewanee, Illinois.

Stephen was proud to have been a Rock Island Auxiliary Policeman in the 70's.  He retired from Miller Container, Rock Island, in 2012 after 25 years of service.

Stephen was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island.  He was an avid Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees fan.  He enjoyed family events, camping, fishing and supporting his grandchildren and attending all of their activities.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debra Perrin; children, Nicole Perrin and Gregory Perrin; grandchildren, Madison and Wyatt Perrin and Raedyn Gray; siblings, Susan (Tom) Perrin-Sallak and Terry Perrin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Schuermann.
