Stephen A. Ward, 65, of Milan, IL, passed away on January 5, 2024. He was born on November 8, 1958, in Moline, Illinois, to the late Arnold A. Ward and Patricia A. Ward. Stephen had worked for the City of Milan.

Stephen was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and loved playing pool. He found joy in spending time with his friends and engaging in yard work. His warm and friendly personality will be remembered by all who knew him.

Stephen is survived by his loving mother, Patricia A. Ward of Milan, IL, and his three daughters: Stephanie (Mike) Bower of Las Vegas, NV; Amanda (Shaun) Tanner of Las Vegas, NV; and Heather (Daryl) Fink of Douglas, WY. He also leaves behind several cherished grandchildren.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Arnold A. Ward.

Private services are pending at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Milan. A private burial will take place at the Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, 724 2nd Ave. W. Milan, IL 61264.

Stephen A. Ward will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
