Steven R. Anthony, 46, of Davenport, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 in Sumner, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation is 4 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the V.A. Davenport Community Resource and Referral Center.

Steven was born July 24, 1970 in Davenport, a son of David and Candace Cantrill Anthony.  He married Jennifer on June 1, 2013 in Davenport.

He had been a truck driver pulling tankers for Bork Transport Co., Summit, Ill.  Steven was also a self employed mechanic working on and repairing almost anything.

He enjoyed hunting and loved to teach his trade to children, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; children, Brianna  Johnson, Kelsey  Dawson, and Steven Anthony Jr. serving with the U.S. Marine Corps; stepsons, Paul and Scott Fuller; 10 grandchildren; his father, David Anthony, Milan and mother and step-father, Candace and Bill Armstrong of New Mexico; sister, Lyndy Havemann; brother, David Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.
