Steven W. Bolebruch, 74, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2016 at home.

There are no services planned. Memorials may be left to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is in charge of arrangements.

Steven was born on January 6, 1942 in Astoria, New York, the son of Steven and Vera Bolebruch. He married Christine Ladner on March 31, 1964 in California.

Mr. Bolebruch had been employed at Southwestern Bell, Texas for 14 years and later worked for Boeing Co., Seattle, WA for 18 years before retiring.

Steven was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughter and son in law, Debra (Kurt) Jensen; granddaughter, Michelle Patton; great grandson, Jaxson Patton; brothers, William (Ann) Bolebruch of Jacksonville, Fl, Robert (Sherri) Bolebruch of Garden City, Fl

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Paul; parents, Steven and Vera; and a sister Olivia Fields.
