Steven L. Ericson, 67, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2020 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.

There will be a live-streamed funeral broadcast at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2020 by visiting https://vimeo.com/483890986 and friends are also invited to drive into the funeral home parking lot, pulling up a respectable distance away from the next car, and tuning into a provided radio station to hear  and watch the service. A drive-thru visitation will be from 1-2 pm Saturday, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  The staff will direct you as you arrive.  Please stay in your vehicles. In lieu of flowers, donations can be left to the Disabled American Veterans.

Steven was born on December 4, 1952 in Kewanee, IL, the son of Clayton and Doris (White) Ericson. He married Denise Wilson on June 5, 1976 in Coal Valley.

Steven was a United States Army Veteran. He was retired from Sears Manufacturing as a welder.

Mr. Ericson was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. He loved family gatherings, attending his grandchildren's sporting events, coaching his children's teams, fishing and bowling.Survivors include his wife, Denise; children, Amber Ericson, David (Amanda) Ericson, all of Rock Island; grandchildren, Kennedy, Bryce and Brooklynn; step siblings, Joann Barns, Shirley Frazen, Ronald VanWassenhov; special niece, Erica Thornton (Art Durbin); several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris; father and step mother, Clayton and Nellie; brother, Dennis Ericson; sister, Glenda Nimrick; step sisters, Louise Orr and Mary Lou Weir.
