Steven M. Kruse, 50, of New Windsor, passed away Friday December 3, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.

A Memorial service will be 11:00am Friday December 10, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the family.

Steven was born on August 2, 1971 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of David and Marguerite (Mohr) Kruse. He married Misti Fordham on May 29, 1999.

Mr. Kruse had been employed at John Deere for 24 years last with Information Technology Department.

He loved watching his kids play soccer, playing video games with his kids, family vacations at Disney and the St. Louis Cardinals. Steven was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, New Windsor.

Survivors include his wife, Misti; children, Joshua and Brittany Kruse; parents, David and Marguerite Kruse; sisters, Karen (Edward) Presson and Kimberly (Tim) Duggan.
