Steven M. Rench, 22, of Milan, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his home.  A memorial gathering for Steven will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Heritage Church, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of Steven's family for a fund to be designated later.

Steven was born on July 26, 1995 and was raised by Donald Joseph "Joe" and Barbara (Schumann) Rench.  He graduated from Rock Island High School.  Steven was a proud father of two girls.  He loved spending time with his daughters, watching TV and playing on the computer.  He was restricted for most of his life by his advanced kidney disease that forced him to be on dialysis.  He strongly fought his battle with kidney disease and received 2 kidney transplants.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée, Carissa Pierce; daughters, Emmalynn and Paisley Rench; his parents, Joe and Barb Rench; brother, Joseph Rench; sister, Ali Zander; grandfather, Donald Rench and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother.
