Steven D. Robinson, 62, of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.  Memorial services for Steven will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at the American Legion Post 1166, 501 N. Main St., Reynolds, IL.   Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Legion.  Inurnment in Reynolds Cemetery will immediately follow services.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Steve was born on May 2, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa, son of the late James M. Robinson and Frances Kempter.  He married Linda (Yocum) Carver on May 6, 2000 at Edgington Presbyterian Church.  Steve worked as a Truck Driver for Norfolk Iron and Metal in Durant, IA, where he was also the safety ambassador and driver trainer.  Steve also loved music, cooking, crossword puzzles.  He cherished spending time with his family and was exceptionally proud of his grandchildren
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda; siblings, Jacki Nelson, Las Vegas, NV, Sharon (Greg) Larrison and Marsha (Bob) Miller, Davenport and Reid Robinson, Rock Island; daughters, Tricia (Torry) Slawson and Jennifer (Sean) Young, all of Davenport; step-children, Lynnsay Parr, Andalulsia, Steven (Kayla) Parr, Rock Island, K-La (Manny Badillo) Carver, Moline and Kody (Ivy Thomas) Carver, Durant, IA; grandchildren, Torry, Tevin, Alec, Lexi, Aubrey, Manuel, Saleen, Case, Julia, Colt and Maren; a great grandson, Conner; He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law, Dennis Nelson.
