Stuart A. Leman, 79, of Viola, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Private graveside services are to be held at Hebrew Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Stuart was born on April 7, 1945 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Phillip and Shirle (Schaider) Leman. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1963 and later attended both Blackhawk College and the Moline Institute of Commerce. Stuart also served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He went on to marry Susan Yehl on October 27, 1996 in Rock Island.

Stuart worked as the Vice President of Merchandising for Phillips Furniture and Appliance for many years, while also owning and operating his own print shop in Moline. He later went on to teach print shop class within the Waukegan Public School District. Stuart was a member of several different boards within the Quad Cities, including the Tri City Jewish Center and Quad City Crime Stoppers. He was also active within the Retired Teachers Association and the Elks Club.

Those left to cherish Stuart's memory include his wife, Susan Leman; step-sons, Jeffrey and Devin Eveland; brothers, Robert Leman and Bruce (Paula) Leman; and several nieces and nephews.

Stuart was preceded in death by his parents.
