Sue E. Pearson, 52, of Moline, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.
A visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan.
Sue was born on June 22, 1963, the daughter of Robert Wylie and Peggy Lou Helton. She was raised in Ontario, Ca.
Ms. Pearson had been employed as a librarian's aide with the Sherrard School District and the Sherrard Public Library. She later worked with Aramark Cleaning Services, Davenport.
Sue loved spending time with her grandson and family, quilting, cross stitching, bead work, was a volunteer with the Matherville Fire Department and was active in the Matherville Community Club.
Survivors include her son, Lyle(Jessie) Pearson Jr., grandson, Cameron Pearson, all of Cedar Rapids; her significant other, Christopher Andekin; father and stepmother, Robert and Darlene Wylie; brothers, Lee Wylie, Moline, Rick Wylie, Rogers, Ohio; sister, April(Rod) Schultz, Rogers; former husband, Lyle Pearson Sr., former mother and father-in-law, David and Beverly Pearson, all of Matherville; brother-in-law, John(Lorene) Pearson, Milan; sister-in-law, Natalie(Michael) Howdeshell, Texas; eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Peggy and Joe Helton.
