Susan A. Hansen, 72, of Rock Island, passed away, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at her home.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per the family's wishes, no services will be held at this time. Inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Susie was born on December 13, 1951, in Moline, the daughter of Harry R. and Madeline E. (Veys) Kannenberg. She graduated from United Township High School in 1969. Susie married Jerald "Jerry" W. Hansen on April 8, 1972, at 15th Ave Christian Church in Rock Island.

Susie had a passion for crafting. She especially enjoyed needle point and crocheting. She made many Afghan blankets to give to others and sell at local craft markets. Susie was the previous Grand Chief of the Pythian Sisters Black Hawk Temple #254.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Mike and Dan Kannenberg, and sister, Frankie Bratton.
