Takea Tyan Burrell, 11, of Moline, passed away Thursday August 26, 2021 at his home.

Celebration of Life services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 12:00 to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Takea was born on November 2, 2009 in Bettendorf, Iowa the son of Takea Burrell and Tiffany Wilmington. He had attended Wells Elementary School and Glenview Middle School, East Moline.

He loved playing video games and being with his family. Takea had also enjoyed playing football and going to church

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Tiffany Wilmington; father, Takea Burrell, Davenport; siblings, Lucas, Constance, Ebony and Lily; maternal grandparents, Sherry and Greg Gordan, Eddy Robert; paternal grandparents, the late Constance Burrell, Charles Griffin; maternal great grandmother, Shirley Ray; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of extended family.
