Tanya K. (Goold) Negus passed away gracefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Hospital in Rock Island, Illinois.

Tanya was born on April 30, 1956 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Keith A. and Barbara S. Goold.  Tanya spent her entire life in Rock Island and married Kenneth E. Negus on February 12, 1989.  They were married for thirty-five years.

Tanya was a loving wife, devoted mother, and grandmother.  She worked for various organizations throughout her life with a common emphasis on providing love, compassion, and care to people and animals.  She enjoyed sewing, crafts, movies, and reading.  Further, she loved being an animal mom throughout the years.

Tanya is survived by her husband, Kenneth Negus; children, Jeremy (Sue) Brune, Frederick (Melissa) Brune IV, and Andrea (Richard) Zeroth; grandchildren, Devin Keto, Joseph Brune, Alex Brune, Richard Zeroth, Hannah Brune, Lauryn Brune, Miranda Zeroth, MaKenzie Brune, and Evelyn Brune; and sister Tammy (Rick) Schmidt.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island, Illinois.  Interment will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, Illinois, with a reception following.
