Teangelo Garrard, 24, of Rock Island, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Davenport. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Teangelo was born in Rock Island on August 1, 1990, a son of Timothy Garrard Sr. and Felicia McBride. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 2008 and was currently employed at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Teangelo enjoyed drag racing his car, riding motorcycles, attending car shows, restoring vehicles and spending time with children, family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Felicia McBride, Bettendorf; father, Timothy Garrard Sr., Davenport; son, Angelo Romero Beserra, Rock Island; brothers and sisters, Timeka Garrard, Timothy Garrard Jr., Davontae and Malik Ross, and Tyliyah Parrow; grandmother, Nellie McBride; his paternal grandparents; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Brittany Garrard and grandfather, Preston McBride.
