Ted A. DeMoulin, 60, of Illinois City, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his residence.

Ted was born on July 5, 1964, in Moline, Illinois, to Wilbert and Priscilla "Penny" (Vershaw) DeMoulin. He graduated from Rockridge High School and attended Scott Community College. Ted spent his career as a truck driver.

Ted had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always eager to share stories of his latest adventures. A true patriot, Ted, took pride in his country and loved to talk about it with anyone who would listen. He will be remembered not just for his love of the outdoors but also for his delicious cooking and his knack for storytelling that could light up a room.

Ted is survived by his beloved son, John DeMoulin, and his brother, Terry (Becky) DeMoulin. Ted was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting with arrangements.
