Teresa Estolano, 71, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday November 26, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City.
A memorial visitation will be 2:00-5:00 PM Thursday December 5, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the family.
Teresa was born on December 15, 1952 in Mexicali, Mexico, the daughter of Benito and Eva (Garcia) Esparza. She graduated high school and later attended college receiving her degree in accounting. She married Jose Luis Vergara, who preceded her in death. She later married Eduardo Estolano and they spent many years together.
She had been employed as a accountant for several years and later as a manager with Arby's. She also spent time volunteering at a food bank.
Teresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren; babysitting, Christmas movies, watching the Masked Singer, trying new restaurants and she loved her chihuahua, Chiquito.
She is survived by her husband, Eduardo; children, David "Gene" Vergara (Misty), Jose "Joey" Luis Vergara, Michelle Vergara, and Jesus Salvador (Kaleigh) Estolano; grandchildren, Ashlee, DJ, Demi, Sara, Victor and Eva; siblings, Juanita Martinez and Jesse Esparza.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Eva; first husband, Jose Luis Vergara; and brother, Richard Esparza.
