Terrance L. "Terry" Brooks, 64, of Moline, formerly of Rock Island, died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, April 24th, at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation is 11 am until service time Wednesday, April 24th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Terry was born June 4, 1954 in Rock Island, a son of Richard D. and Joan M. Kruse Brooks.

He retired from the Rock Island/Milan Public Schools, where he had served as the stadium engineer for the Public Schools Stadium.

Terry was a member of the Oak Ridge Bible Chapel, Milan and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 822. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Jason (Laura) Brooks, Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Sommer (Jason) Livengood, Rock Island and Amber (Keith) Edmondson, Bettendorf; granddaughters, Alexis Livengood and Kaelyn Edmondson; brother, Admiral Jeffrey (Diane) Brooks, U.S. Navy (Retired), Chesapeake, Va.; and his sister, Lori Rudack, Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Sophia Edmondson.
