Terry Lee Long, 71, of Taylor Ridge, passed away Friday October 11, 2024 at his home.

There are no local services, private family services will be held at a later date in Indiana.

Terry was born August 5, 1953 in Darlington, South Carolina, the son of William and Janette (Casteel) Long.

He had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 35 years as a machine repairman.

Terry was a United States Army veteran.

He loved spending his time farming, gardening and being in the outdoors.

Survivors include his mother, Janette; children, Courtney Long, Milan, Casey Long, Indianapolis, IN, Hope Long, Wilton, Iowa; grandson, Caleb Long; siblings, Julia Harding, Charles Long and William Long.

He was preceded in death by his father, William.
