Terry M. "Mike" Taylor , 66, of Silvis passed away, January 19, at Genesis-Illini Campus , Silvis.

No services are planned, arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice. Terry was born in Rock Island, IL to Paul and Betty Taylor on October 14, 1954. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1972. He married Beth Greene November 26, 1977. He later married Joyce Rodgers Johnson on March 31, 2001 He was employed at John Deere and worked in a variety of roles at various locations in the Quad Cities. He was a Deere employee for over 40 Years. Terry was a diehard Chicago Bears fan. Meeting Walter Payton was one of his most memorable moments. He is survived by his mother, Betty Taylor, Rock Island; former wife, Joyce Taylor, Geneva, IL; stepchildren, Misty (Steve) Meinig, Geneva, IL and Trent (Anne) Johnson, Bartlett, IL; step grandchildren Fulton Meinig and Quinn Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
