Terry Parr, 67, of Rock Island passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at home.

A private graveside service will be held at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Terry's family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Terry was born on August 25, 1954 in Rock Island, a son of William Sr. and Shirley (Stevenson) Parr. He owned and operated Parr's Small Engine in Rock Island for 42 years. Terry was a member of Masonic Lodge Eureka No. 69 of Milan. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, bee keeping, and tinkering with old cars. His greatest joy in life came from spending time outside and enjoying nature.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, William (Marchia) Parr Jr., Geneseo, Kathy Parr, Orion, Vickie (Paul) Slusser, Cambridge, Steven Parr, Rock Island, Anna (Henry) Parr-Ethridge, and Tamara (Kevin) Areys; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Shirley Parr; and brothers, Danny and Ricky Parr.
