Thomas D. Burkle, 64, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at UPH-Trinity Terrace Park, Bettendorf.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Preemption Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Thomas was born on March 25, 1955 in Iowa City, IA, the son of Leland and Joyce (Armstrong) Burkle.  He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, watching family play softball, and traveling with his parents.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Connie (Don) Jackson, Davenport; brother, Mike Burkle, Davenport; 2 nephews; 2 great nephews; and 4 great nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Theresa Burkle.
