Thomas E. Carter, 63, of Andalusia, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his home. Celebration of Life for Mr. Carter will be 10:30 am, Saturday at Heritage Church, Rock Island. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Thomas was born on August 11, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Donald and Joyce Troxell Carter. He married Kerri Webb on October 13, 1984 in Colona. Tom was a fork lift mechanic-supervisor at Torrance-Yale Industrial Co., Rock Island. He was active in Wellspring of Freedom, Rock Island Moose Lodge and was a B.A.C.A. Supporter.
