Thomas L. Clark, 75 of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away Wednesday June 15, 2022 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at the River City Church, Moline, at 10:00 AM, visitation one hour prior. Family has requested please send no flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Thomas was born January 16, 1947 in Louisville, Mississippi; his parents were Walter Clark Sr. and Henrietta (Clay) Clark.  He married Rebecca Gipson on August 1, 1987 in Rock Island.

He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal as a Pliable Materials expert, retiring in 1999.   He was a member of River City Church, Moline; he enjoyed bowling and tinkering in his garage and doing chores for family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Becky, son Charles (Deanna) Gipson, one granddaughter Aubrey Lynn Gipson; special cousin Johnnie B Clemmons; his Mother-in-law Ardath Wilbur, Brothers-in-Law Doug (Sharon) Borland, Greg (Barb) Borland, Sister-in-Law Kristene (Dan) Peterson, Frosty (Cindy) Borland and many others

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Walter Clark Jr., James Henry Clark, Sisters Callie Leggs and Walterine Fleming.
