Timothy J. McKeon, 47, of Bloomington, IL, passed away Sunday October 5, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, where visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Timothy was born February 4, 1967 in Moline, IL, a son of Raymond D. and Lois A. McCoy McKeon. He graduated from United Township High School in 1985. He married Stacy D. Cullett on May 26, 1990 in Rock Island, IL.
Timothy was a member of U.A.W. Local 2488, Bloomington, IL. He served his apprenticeship with Diamond-Star/Mitsubishi plant in Normal, IL, and has been employed there for over 20 years. He was an avid fisherman, St. Louis Cardinal and Dallas Cowboy fan, and enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. His happiest times were those spent with friends and family. Timothy will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are his wife, Stacy, of Bloomington; sons, Joseph and Caleb McKeon, both of Bloomington; sisters, Pat (Robert) Wells, East Moline, IL, Nancy McKeon, East Moline, Connie Resetich, Silvis, IL, and Colleen (Bill) Carlson, Woodhull, IL; brothers, Daniel McKeon, East Moline, and Michael (Ann) McKeon, King George, VA; uncle, Wayne McCoy, Springdale, AR; aunt, Vera McCoy, Huntsville, AR; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Charles and Patricia Cullett, Milan; brothers-in-law, Doug (Kitty) Cullett, Germantown Hills, IL, and Dan (Beth) Cullett, Moline; sister-in-law, Penny (Tim) Tallman, Centralia, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sue McKeon; and mother-in-law, Judith Cullett.
