Todd Eugene Fitzpatrick, 63, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.

Todd was born November 29, 1961, in Moline, Illinois, a son of Jack E. and Janet R. (Hodson) Fitzpatrick. He graduated from Rockridge High School in 1980. Todd devoted his career to the Blackhawk Fire Protection District, serving 33 years as a first responder. During his time, he served as assistant chief and chief of the district. Todd also owned a landscaping business, worked as an EMT for Advanced Medical Transport, and worked at Bonnet Wholesale Florist. Todd enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and doing yardwork. He also enjoyed fishing. Above all, Todd cherished the time spent with his family, friends, and beloved Dalmatians, Chief and Chloe.

Those left to honor Todd's memory include his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Tabitha Fitzpatrick; mother, Janet Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Jayda and Olyvia Fitzpatrick, and Autumn and Skyler Stone; sister and brother-in-law, Tami and Jeff Claus; nieces, Emma (Mike) Kaschke and Claire (Kevin) Wood; great nephews and niece, Stephen, Jack, and Dakota; surviving spouse, Kerrie Bauman and her children, Annajo, Michael, and Robinlynn; and beloved Dalmatians, Chief and Chloe.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Jack.
